NEW YORK: This two hour film spectacular covers a variety of categories, showcasing
award winning directors and the best in short film. 10-12 films, live entertainment, and a special guest host are sure to make this event worthy of two thumbs up.
Films include: 'Neo-Noir' by Chase Palmer (25 New Faces of Independent Film
in 2005- Filmmaker Magazine), 'While the Widow is Away' by Adam Reid (Winner
at Seattle FF, Jacksonville FF, Visionquest), 'Consent' by Jason Reitman
(Winner - Aspen Shortsfest, Seattle FF), 'Milton is a Shitbag' by Courtney
Davis (Winner - Slamdance, Austin FF), 'Return I Will to Old Brazil' by Alex
Budovsky (New short by the creator of the multi-award-winning short Bathtime
in Clerkenwell), 'Perpetual Motion' by Kimberly Miner (Student Academy Award
winner), '9' by Shane Acker (Multi-Award winning short and currently working
with Tim Burton on a feature adaptation of this short), 'Zombie-American' by
Nick Poppy (starring Ed Helms of The Daily Show), 'Home Game' by Martin Lund
(Winner, Aspen Shortsfest), 'Gulp' by Jason Reitman, 'In God We Trust' by
Jason Reitman
