Englewood, Colo., February 15, 2007 – Get out the beer, burgers and brats and gear up for Starz Entertainment’s “Black Tie Tailgate,” a multi-channel movie marathon beginning at 6 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 25 across Starz Cinema, Encore and their respective On Demand services, and also on RetroPlex. The all day blitz leads up to the 79th Annual Academy Awards® celebration and is hosted by Richard Roeper (“Ebert & Roeper”) and Doug Williams (“Martin Lawrence Presents 1st Amendment Stand-Up”). The Aviator, Lost In Translation, Memoirs of a Geisha, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Thelma & Louise, All the King’s Men and Midnight Cowboy are just some of the 20 Academy Award® winning films that will be featured throughout the day, boasting a total of 57 Awards.
