DOTHAN, ALABAMA, Aug. 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Movie Gallery, Inc. (NASDAQ:MOVI) is celebrating 20 years of business. What started out as one store in Dothan, AL in 1985 has now become the second largest video retailer in the world. "Being in business for twenty years is a great milestone for us, and we want to celebrate with our customers," said Joe Malugen, Chairman and CEO of Movie Gallery, Inc.
To celebrate, Movie Gallery is giving away a free Party Pass to each customer, filled with 12 weeks of free rental and discount offers. "We believe there is no better way to enjoy an evening with your family than to watch a movie. We think renting a movie is simply the most economical way to do that. The Party Pass is our way to give our customers an even better value. It's fun and keeps you coming back for more," Malugen added.
The Company is distributing the Party Pass in all of its 2,700 Movie Gallery stores throughout the United States and Canada. It will be available during August while supplies last.
