PARK CITY, Utah, Jan. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Call it the sequel. Airborne returns to the Sundance Film Festival to once again keep the immune systems of Hollywood's A-list and festival attendees going at peak performance. This time, the popular herbal health formula is teaming up with the crew of top- rated entertainment news magazine show "Extra" to bring viewers a unique look at the sights and sounds of America's premier independent film festival.
"Last year's experience at Sundance was so successful that we decided in 2007 to expand our reach even further," says Elise Donahue, CEO of Airborne, Inc. "We are huge fans of 'Extra' and thought that by bringing them on as our official television partner, we could give our Airborne fans at home a peek into the Airborne Lounge."
"Extra's" Jerry Penacoli, broadcasting exclusively from the Airborne Lounge, promises all of Sundance's breaking celebrity news, as well as in- depth profiles of the festival's hottest films. "It's a fantastic location," says Lisa Gregorisch-Dempsey, Senior Executive Producer of "Extra." She adds, "It's an inviting space right in the heart of Park City that will attract a lot of celebrities."
Located in the Harry O's complex at 427 Main Street, the Airborne Lounge will also serve as a relaxing oasis where celebs and the public alike can receive a complimentary cup of tea, water and most importantly, an effervescent Airborne beverage to help ward off germs.
Guests at the Airborne Lounge will experience a bubbly atmosphere. From the lighting to bubble walls, the entire bar will have a healthy, effervescent glow to help create an inviting environment.
A newly added element to the Lounge, the "ON-AIRborne" video confessional will allow both celebrities and festival attendees to tape their favorite anecdotes and memories about using and sharing Airborne. These clips will then play on televisions throughout the Lounge for all to enjoy.
Additionally, each night of Sundance, the Airborne Lounge will host private parties for several of the festival's debut films, and like last year, the Airborne Bus will be made available to festival attendees, transporting film goers from their hotels to Main Street.
