Rosie Perez with independentfilm.com's Corey Boutilier at a special advanced screening of "Street Fight." Rosie was attending the advanced screening with Uma Thurman and Glen Close and Rory Kennedy. The film follows the mayoral election of Newark, NJ between Cory Booker and Mayor Sharpe James. Rosie shares her thoughts about the film and independent filmmaking. Rosie's own documentary "Yo soy boricua, pa' que tu lo sepa", which translates roughly as "I'm Puerto Rican, for your information," is an official selection of the 2006 Miami Film Festival.
