David Teague, who many of you know from his books like "Final Cut Pro 4 and the Art of Filmmaking" or from the New York City Super 8 "Flicker" Festivals, is shooting his last installment to "Love Suicides" this weekend. On Friday night, I was invited to join the set construction.
With the help of his art design team, David has created a "river" inside an old building in Red Hook, Brooklyn. It's a homemade "Pool" flooded with water.
Tomorrow it will be filled with trees, and a beach.
Also, a special river boat was created from scratch for this Super 8 and 16mm film production.
David's budget for the final installment is about $10,000 and may include some underwater Super8 footage as well.
More tomorrow. - Corey
